How To Add Your Website To Google Search Console

Sign in to your google account and go to Google Search Console and click the red button to add your website.

Once you’ve clicked the button, type your complete website’s URL in the box. Click the blue button to continue. If your site using the HTTPS it needs to include it.

Click the HTML tag under the Alternative Method and get the code.

Click on the Meta tag to highlight it, and copy it to the Clipboard.

Log in to your WordPress website in a new tab or window. After logged in you will see a menu and click on ‘Settings’.

The ‘Settings’ settings will expand providing you additional options. Click on ‘Traffic’.

You will see "Site Verification Services". Add the code under ‘Google’ and click ‘Save Settings’.

Switch back to Google Search Console (formerly Google Webmaster Tools) and click ‘Verify’.
